Joep Selders, Belgium

Born in the Netherlands in June 1953.
Married and a Daughter of 27 years old.
Teacher of English and German. In 2007 I moved to Belgium, but I am still working in the Netherlands.

Since 1980 I have been engaged in training and handling Rottweilers.  I have owned numerous Rottweilers and with practically all them I have been able to pass for my Sch/IPO III certificate and I have participated successfully in several competitions, both nationally as well as internationally

In 2000 I started my training to become a judge and I successfully passed my exams  in 2002.
Since then I have been judging many exams and competitions in the Netherlands as well as abroad.

  •  The Dutch Dobermann Championships 2003 (A), 2004 (B) and 2005 (C)      
  • The IDC Dobermann World Championships, Obedience (2006)
  • The Dutch Tracking Championships, (2007)
  • The IFR Rottweiler World Championships, Tracking (2008)
  • The Dutch Championships for all breeds, Protection (2008)
  • The Open Dutch Championships of the Belgian Shepard Society, Obedience (2008)
  • The Bouvier World Championships, Tracking (2009)
  • Several International Championships (CACIT)
  • Many regional and smaller competitions throughout the country

I really look forward to judge Bouvier World Championships in Denmark and wish the organisation, contestants and everyone involved the best of luck in making these World Championships a great success

Have been active within dogsport since 1996, where I started training the DCH programme (tracking, obedience, search and guard).
I have also been active dog handler in the Danish Civil Police training association, and now – since 4 years ago – within the IPO-sport. 

I started out with Hovawart and have now a German Shepherd with whom I have participated 2 times in the Danish Championships in IPO3. 

I wish you all good luck and look forward to meet you all during the world championships for Bouviers.

Helper, Long work

Owner of German Shepherd for several years.

Started as a helper/decoy 5 years ago and have been a part of the national group of helpers for the national championships in the Danish German Shepherd Club.

As a helper, I've been on several Danish as well as World Championships qualification trial in as well the Danish German Shepherd Club as the Belgian Shepherd Dog Association of Denmark. In addition to being selected as the replacement helper for the World Championships for Bouviers, I am also selected as helper for the Danish Championship for the Belgian Shepherd Dog Association of Denmark this year.

I’m both handler and helper/decoy for training, as well as instructor in tracking and obedience and I have participated in the Danish Championships for German Shepherds.

It is my great honor to be part of this contest and is looking forward to seeing you in October 2011.

Member of the German Shepherd Club and the Belgian Shepherd Club of Denmark

I´m 37 years old, and I have been working as a helper and instructor for more than 10 years. I have worked with a lots of breeds through time, including German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann, Hovawart, Malinois, and Bouvier de Flanders.

I have previously been a helper in the Danish Police-dog Associations. Today I have my license as helper from the German Shepherd Club of Denmark.

Besides being a helper, I´m owner / handler of Belgian Shepherd (Malinois).

I´m proud and honored to be selected as helper for the short work at the IPO World Championships 2011 for Bouvier de Flanders, and looking forward to meet all of you in Denmark the last weekend of October.
